Have you missed your notification deadlines?
This page provides a short explanation on the process of filing the FCC 601
schedule K form. If you are reading this your company probably has some point
to point microwave licenses that have missed (or will soon miss) the deadline
for schedule K completion. Micronet Communications can take care of filing your
schedule K forms, and if needed file waviers with the FCC for construction
extensions or missed deadlines. Enter your FRN or Call Sign below, which will
generate a list of your missed and upcoming construction deadlines.

It is of utmost importance to file delinquent schedule K forms, otherwise your
license could be terminated if no action is taken. The FCC is cracking
down on this and if your buildout deadline is after Feb 1, 2006, your license
will enter into an automatic termination process if your deadline has not been
met.
The FCC 601 schedule K form (construction notification)
This form notifies the FCC of the buildout date of your license or some
component of your license. When a license is granted by the FCC, each frequency
is assigned a buildout deadline, whereupon the licensee must have completed
construction and have started operation. Many point to point microwave
licensees have either failed to meet these deadlines or failed to notify the
FCC of their buildout dates.
Micronet has conveniently generated a list of all missed and upcoming buildout
dates for your company. You may need to file your schedule K forms as soon as
possible. If you missed your deadline, you will need to submit a wavier to the
FCC explaining why you missed it. You may also need to file a wavier for an
extension of your buildout deadline.
Contact us via phone or email and we can help you sort things out and complete
your schedule K forms quickly and properly. In addition, we can monitor your
licenses and keep track of required deadlines to help you avoid these issues in
the future.
