FCC 18 GHz Sunset Deadline Information

Fixed services (FS) frequencies operating in the center of the 18 GHz band (18.3–19.3 GHz) were reallocated to the fixed-satellite service (FSS) in 2000 and 2002. This reallocation affects a small number of Part 101 licensee utilizing Narrowband 18 GHz channels, Multichannel Video Providers, as well as some Part 74 and Part 78 licensees.

If you received your 18 GHz microwave license after 2002, you were not allowed to obtain a primary allocation in this section of the frequency band and this should not affect you.

To verify please enter your FCC Registration Number (FRN) or Call Sign below and Micronet will generate (from the FCC database) a list of your Part 101 or Part 74 links that are affected by this reallocation.
